Would you go to a “pick a part” junkyard during the zombie apocalypse?

I'm having a debate with a friend of mine, he says that a pick a part place would be perfect do go during a zombie apocalypse, I told him where would he find food,power,and defense?

But he's as very stub borne and won't believe me. He also said why not just use a hydrogen bomb to kill all the zombies.

So would you please help to stop this debate.

Why would you waste your time looting a junkyard when every store with NEW products can be looted. Its an awful idea. Go to a rural area so there would not be many zombies stumbling around your chosen safe haven. You can always go back to town to loot any necessities, but you will probably have everything you need in the country. And even if the hydrogen bomb was a practical method of killing zombies, how would you find one, handle it, and detonate it with no prior training (I am presuming that). I have read the guide, also.
Mercenary cross bow men. I would hire Gordon the Advisor, Francesca, Sir unbetro and place cross bowmen in a rectangle so it could not get by. the cross bow men each cost 25 gold each.
i would wither count on the numbers to destroy it or upgrade to armour piercing and then shoot it apart. or hire The Hill home raiders and their axmen to chop it apart.
these heros are from mercenary iv game so if cross over possible for role playing game can be done or one similar made and posted by you. mercenary game has units placed around sides and exits put you could have them on path as well.

I would go to the space needle. There is a restaurant at the top, so after carefully disposing of the few zombies that might be actually in there, you could secure the building, and have a great vantage point from the top. they wouldnt even know you were in there. You could rig zip lines to get to other places, and have winches to pull you back up. get some generators to supply power to the restaurant so you could cook, etc. Just make sure they cant get into the building.

I dont think it could catch on fire accidentaly or anything.

you could just leisurely pick them off from up there if you wanted to, you know, out of boredom.
I'd rather go to my local Dollar store and hardware store. You can find everything from food, first aid supplies, clothing and camping equipment in the former. The hardware store will have tents, firearms, bows and knives.

a junk yard is a bad idea. the locusts may be useful. don't forget flesh eating flies, leeches or traveling by fuel tanker with an army chainsaw weilding anarchists
