I wrecked the front of my 2000 civic ex. Airbags went off and about a third of front end damaged. No comprehensive or collision coverage. Pick a part asked me if my engine was still good when determining its worth. I said I don't know and then no. I got 400 for it and they towed it from towing place. I'm thinking now that what if my engine was actually still good? Is that possible or at liky after an accident like the one I described? I already signed over the car. How can I tell if the engine is still 'good'? If so, do you think pick a part would give me the extra money for it even after I signed the car over? I just thought of this and I have to wait til the morning to call. Thanks for your help. Will i get more money back from pick a part if my engine is actually still good?
its more than likely good. If you think theres a split hair of a chance that they would consider giving you more money now, just play the lotto. They will laugh at you if you even ask them. although that would seem like the honerable thing to do, thats just not how it works in the business world. Thats there job...to make as big of a profit from you as they can. Just let it go. chalk it up as a lesson learned!!.Will i get more money back from pick a part if my engine is actually still good?
Did car run after wreck if yes engine probably OK. Unless their kindly people doubt they'll give you more. But call won't know if you don't it's always worth a try. Hope for a yes G. luck. Should have had insurance, my dear. Will i get more money back from pick a part if my engine is actually still good?
No they won't give you more money after they made a deal with you. You should have told them it had a good motor. Don't even waste your time calling them.
NO...they won't give u anything since u already signed it over to them.......it's too late.....even if they could they won't ..
