Creationists, why do you cherry pick which parts of science you agree with?

You're happy enough to use a computer (which wouldn't be around if it were not for science), or drive a car (as forementioned) etc.... yet anything (ie evolution) which threatens your 'fairy tale' is the work of Satan?

Please give examples of so called "cherry picking". Evolution, no matter how much you want it to be is not science, it is a theory.
No i dont pick and choose science... i just dont agree with the evolutionary theory. And i am basing that on a logical point of view not a "closed mind creationist". The evidence suggest that evolution is a natural random genetic mutation. Cant see this all being random.



I dont see a animal with...

A human nose,

Elephant ears,

donkeys tail,

turtle shell,

flies eyes,

monkey hands and feet,

with feathers,



To me thats random... but i guess that couldnt happen with natural section

But if natural section eliminates all that then what dna changes can pass through the generations?

If you look at nature most animals with KILL there babies for having any genetic mutations. Mostly mammalsCreationists, why do you cherry pick which parts of science you agree with?
I'm a Christian, and I don't believe that "evolution is the work of Satan"... I disagree with calling it a FACT though, when it's still considered a theory. There ARE observable transitions/adaptations that take place in science that we can measure, but claiming that humanity evolved from a primate, but lacking THAT absolute proof, allows me to question it... esp because that "missing link" hasn't ever been found.



Why ask this question only of people who believe in creation?

@Galaxie Girl - You say you believe in creation and evolution. Do you mean that you believe god guided evolution to deliberately create mankind? If so, you either completely misunderstand the mechanism of natural selection or you don't believe in free will.

I don't. In fact, I believe in evolution as well as creation. The two are not mutually exclusive. Actually, I'm an engineer, so I use science every day.



Not all creationists are YECs.
This should be directed towards Christian creationists.

Because Jewish creationists do not use satan as an excuse for the bad things we do.

Science is for everyone, last I heard atheists did not put a patent on science..



Besides nothing you can say can make evolution as real as a computer, evolution is BS science and I believe you know this deep down inside..
Because only some parts of science make sense.
