Can a music shop fix an acoustic pick guard?

When I got this acoustic, my stepdad accidentally ripped off part of the pick guard and we tried to superglew it back but without much success. Could a guitar center or music shop properly re-attach the pick guard or rip this off and put on a new one or not? It's not a big deal its just a blemish that can be annoying. Thanks guys! Can a music shop fix an acoustic pick guard?
Yes indeed. But don't go to Guitar Center.

Every guitarist should seek out and become friends with the boutique guitar stores in your area that cater to the pro musicians in your area. That's where you'll find the best luthier/repairman. It's also where you will find a constant turn-over of guitars coming in on trade... good guitar teachers... and lots of people (including the owners, usually) who eat/sleep/breathe guitars . Those kinds of shops represent a community of players who take care of each other and welcome new players with open arms. They'll watch your back.

Not that Guitar Center or other big box stores are evil, but it's just not the same thing. Support your local boutique guitar shops - you won't be sorry.

PS - you may pay a little more at these kinds of shops - but the personal touch they provide more than makes up for a couple dollars at the register. Best of luck to you !Can a music shop fix an acoustic pick guard?
Most definitely. Most guitar shops regularly do repairs of this type. Heck you might even be able to accomplish this repair with a few basic items yourself, such as sand paper and a good quality epoxy.
