How do you make Red Lobster's chocolate chip lava cookie?

My boyfriend apparently is IN LOVE with Red Lobster's chocolate chip lava cookie. I want to learn how to make it for him (: You can find a description and picture of it at www.redlobster.ca/menus/dessert . RED LOBSTER LAVA COOKIES

(copycat recipe)



I made this recipe with ease and it was super quick.



Use any brand of of chocolate chip or all-chocolate cookie refrigerated dough. (Or you can make your own. I used Pillsbury chocolate chip break apart cookie dough.)



Use a regular-size muffin pan and slightly spray bottom and sides. Press cookie dough into each cup leaving an indent and come up sides without tearing cookie dough.



Spoon 1 tsp. hot fudge and some chocolate chips in each indent.



Use floured fingers to press another cookie and tuck it on top making sure they connect. Pinch to seal if you can.



Follow baking temperature as directed for cookies add 5-7 more minutes to the cooking time. After 10 minutes, take a butter knife go around edges to assure no sticking. Cool in pan on rack.



When cooled, flip over onto rack, they should come out easy.



As an added touch I melted a handful of chocolage chips and a dab of Crisco shortening (can use butter or margarine), melted on medium power in microwave, and drizzled over top.



Serve with ice cream
