Can a CB radio be hooked up to receive/transmit through the vehicles radio antenna?

I am wanting to ad a cb to my new truck, but do not like having the look of another antenna on the truck. I have heard that more than one item can be hooked into an antenna, is that true in this case? Can a CB radio be hooked up to receive/transmit through the vehicles radio antenna?
Can it be? Probably. Should it be? No way!

A regular am/fm antenna is not suited to CB RX/TX - different impedance, length, and total height requirements.

Even a CB antenna should be specifically tuned to the CB it is being used with for best performance and to prevent damage to the CB.

There is also a specific CB cable length that should be used. Can a CB radio be hooked up to receive/transmit through the vehicles radio antenna?
Yes, it's possible, but it would be cost-prohibitive to do so unless you just want to experiment and have fun. You'd need a tuner, the right transmission line and connections, and a switching mechanism. Yes, multiple receivers can be hooked to a single antenna, but only one at a time with transmitters.
