I have a pair of Oricom 2100s and some speaker microphones to go with them, however when I plug them into the radio I get nothing. Do they require batteries or is there a setting I need to adjust? ThanksHow do you speak through the attachable microphone on a CB Radio?

The speaker/mics themselves should not require a battery.
You may have to go back to the store to check it out , but its possible that the speaker/mic is not compatible with the 2100.
I have seen them used with the 1200 though.
