I disagree with "Common Sense" on this one. You should care and you should report it to the authorities, although little may be done. Someone said for evil to triumph, it only takes good men doing nothing. The main thing you do not want to do is pay any attention to them on the air. They are probably losers looking for attention and the worst thing you can do is acknowledge the fact that you are listening. Don't call them , don't criticize them and most important don't get into an on air argument with them. That's the attention they want. They may get bored and go away. In the meantime, if it bugs you change channels, and I do agree getting a ham license is a great idea. Hams aren't all pure as the driven snow, but are a lot better and are usually self policing of the privileges they have earned.Cb radio questions and concerns in canada please help me deal with rude cb radio operators?
Welcome to reality, where not all laws are enforced. You have the option of turning the CB off or moving to another frequency if foul language bothers you. You may want to look into amateur radio as an alternative.Cb radio questions and concerns in canada please help me deal with rude cb radio operators?
Why do you care about that? If you don't like it change channels. I can't believe you called the police. You should be ashamed of yourself for that. Live and let live, remember?
Ummm... your mainly dealing with truckers... so expect some inappropriate content sometimes.
No offence to truckers, but like every open resource, expect profanity
