God may have created it, the future telling is false tho, such future telling is just a way to sell this knowledge. what do you think faith is? the belief in something you know its true but its mostly hard to see. simple minded people cant stand faith and just believe in only what they see.

Why did God create the Zodiac Constellations?God did not create the zodiac signs. Now, some of the Jews used something LIKE zodiac signs to teach their children about their lineage and ancestors. The signs were not used to attribute character traits, telling someone's future, etc. They just didn't have anything to write on, so they used the stars as an addition to the lessons they taught orally to help the child (student) learn. Lineage was very important to them, and it was all important for the children to learn it.
This practice was taken by people who did NOT believe in God and was adapted to form the practice of astrology, which was NOT used to teach lineage, heritage, history, etc. Christians will sometimes disagree with each other on whether or not it's harmless. Since astrology was based on occult practices, some Christians will have nothing to do with it. Others may read their horoscopes out of curiosity, and still others enjoy taking the practice to heart and are deeply involved in it.
There are 12 months of the year- each corresponding to celestial
arrangements (certain constellations are visible at certain times).
There are 12 tribes of Isreal- each tribe corresponds to a "zodiac sign".
For instance Judah is Leo (the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah- revelation 5) and so on.Why did God create the Zodiac Constellations?
God created the stars.
We made them constellations.
Tell me something: if you live in North America, can you find Ursa Major? Does it REALLY look like a bear or can you make it out to be about a million other pictures if you stretch your imagination real hard?
Be careful how you interpret religion. You may be suffereing from cultural brainwashing.
The Zodiac Constellations are just stars. It's just that people recognize them based on the arrangement of the stars.
De facto: The stars aren't really close to each other, just that some stars are brighter, closer, alined with... etc.
God only made the stars, humans are the ones who made the constellation ideas.
Man created constellations. God gave us light at night in a moon and stars. Man, in his mythological state, gave us Draco, Ursa Major %26amp; Minor or the big and little dipper, Pegasus, et.al.
Fascinating to me, is that on another planet with a sentient species, our sun may be part of its own constellation. Would it be part of a 12 month cycle or a different one entirely, and what of their zodiac, what would it be? Would they ever see the universe that is ours, or would it always be theirs?
But this is too much philosophy; however, I am bound by my mercurial ruling planet which should be Mercury as a Gemini, but from where I was born is the moon. t
Oh, but they do. The chrome fish symbol many Christians have on the trunk of their car is 'Pisces'. It was taken from the Mithraists like a few other things. They just want to distance themselves from those other religions they stole their whole belief from.
And those Christians it stood for the story in which Jesus caused the Bread and fish to multiple and feed the hungry multitude. Nope, they were wrong again.
Oh yeah, we humans are the ones who came up with the Zodiac and names associated with it. God just created the Universe in which these stars have changed very little over time.Just another universal law that our environment exists because of. Our naming of things doesn't make them significant. Nor does that mean the Mythologies associated with the Zodiac are in anyway fact.
Of course I do not believe in God, but i figured I would just say it before a Christiansdoes and claims any knowledge of the question.
there is no god remember. the zodiac were created by humans, who saw simple, and sometimes complex patterns in the arrangement of stars in the sky. nothing more. it helped them keep track of the time of year, by which zodiac was in the sky

I found it an interesting read, especially my "sign"
God didn't "create the Zodiac Constellations" God just made the stars and put them in the sky as he wills.
Then men came along and from the sin of our own hearts we "created" the Zodiac Constellations and put meaning into their forms.
Kooties, as a Christian I don't follow astrology, psychics, etc. God created the stars. It was men who created astrology and all manners of soothsaying.
Most fascinating article by a Professional I have ever read on the subject hands down.

Men created the zodiac.
Actually, humans did. Pattern recognition is a part of the human psyche, not to mention a healthy imagination.
You do realize that other cultures see other, completely different pictures in the skies -- right?
some say it depicts the story of the Savior, or that each one represents a dispensation.
Man made up the constellations.......
God created the stars, man created the Zodiac. Man reads what he sees in the sky but is it true?
sorry i have to tell you this but god is not uhm non fiction
