What is more important in deciding compatibility- chinese zodiac signs or western astrology zodiac signs?

I know both are supposed to be important, I'm a fire tiger/ Gemini. I've always thought the western astrology is more important because we place so much emphasis on it, but what about chinese astrology? Is it more important, equally important or less important? What is more important in deciding compatibility- chinese zodiac signs or western astrology zodiac signs?
About compatibility:

In order to answer this question correctly, you need to compare the time, place, and date of birth of you and the other person. And you cannot truly call anything a TRINE unless you look at the degree; just because the signs are trine does not mean the placements are trine by degrees.

It important to compare the degrees between the signs and planets of each chart also. Sun signs are notoriously unreliable for compatibility analysis,

so you really do need to look at the aspects to tell.

However you can go to http://www.astro-software.com/cgi-bin/as鈥?/a> and put in both birth dates. It will give you a compatibility analysis which is much more accurate and exact than anything sun sign based.

Both systems have their methods of doing compatibility though in my opinion I believe Chinese is more complex. Chinese astrology has always been complex for me, having to know the way and meanings of how the elements work, the animal signs, the combination forms, the clash codes, etc. Western is simpler in my opinion because you just compared aspects, planets, and signs.

If you want to decide compatibility in Chinese astrology it's beyond than just looking at your year animal and element. Like I might an yang earth dragon ('88), but I'm also a yang water tiger by day which is more significant than the year animal because the day animal and elements talks about your true self.

If want to do Western astrology, it's also beyond just Sun signs. You have to compare the charts of the 2 individuals. The sun sign is only a mere fragment of one's self. What is more important in deciding compatibility- chinese zodiac signs or western astrology zodiac signs?
Chinese astrology approach for love compatibility analysis is called Ba Zi compatibility match. It uses your full birth information including Year, Month, Day, Time, and gender.

There are areas of tests to be done. If you want to have children, one more area is added.

Don't fall for the shallow and inaccurate birth year animal sign thing. Learn about the real thing, and you judge for yourself.

If you need help, look up a reputable master to do it for you. It's relatively inexpensive to do a test. It is well worth doing it.
I think it can be important.

Take my mum for example, shes a Gemini and I'm a Cancer, and when i look at our western zodiac signs, moon signs and planetary positions. We shouldn't really be compatible. But we get on really well.

However she's born in the year of the Dragon and I was born in the year of the rat. And those two chinese zodiac signs are very compatible.

So I think chinese zodiac signs are quite important, but the problem with the chinese zodiac is that it changes on what year you were born in. So age can sometime be a problem, if you know what i mean.

I think you should take the chinese zodiac into consideration, as it can affect compatibility just like anything else, but perhaps look at the western zodiac in a little more detail. But that's because you can look up peoples sun signs and moon signs with it etc.. And all that can change compatibility; it's usually more detailed.

And like all zodiac signs, i don't think someone should let it rule their love life and makes them decide who they want to go with or not. No matter what it is, chinese or western.

However they a good way to try and analyse a person and relationship. :) I love looking things like this up,What is more important in deciding compatibility- chinese zodiac signs or western astrology zodiac signs?
