2) No. Venus will always be close to the Sun, but it can be up to two signs away. So if the Sun is in, say, Cancer, Venus could be in Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo or Virgo... Also, every 18 months, Venus goes retrograde (which it is doing right now!) and goes backwards for around 6 weeks.



Only the Sun is consistent to the time of year. You need to buy an Ephemeris for the 21st Century. It will tell you where each planet is once a day, every day, for the entire century. Otherwise, try and find one online you can download.
