I don't believe it, my sister is a gemini and she married a capricorn and they're so happy with each other, they get into fights but they're happy together. So, what's your opinion it?|||I like the Psychological side of it; there's sex and gender to think about, there's the Decan that they were born in, the year they were born it's not just about ONE sign that's meant to tell it all.
Star Signs are personality traits, personality traits are basic Psychology, however it's extremely stupid to think everyone born within that time period IS *THAT* Star Sign, which is why Star Signs have three breakdowns called "Decans".
But re-guarding your sister, she or he may seem all happy, but YOU don't really know, you're not personally in their relationship, no one understands another persons relationship on the same level.
1) She's a woman - It's normal for a woman to lie or pretend everything's dandy when it's not because they're insecure about loosing what they have.
2) She's a Gemini - Mainly those who are born in the 2nd Decan are likely to lie.
3) Maybe his and her Eastern sign get on better than their Western.
I'm not meant to be with a Scorpio man, but we're best friends and having a baby together. It's more to do with our Eastern sign and because I understand his Western. He was even surprised how long we've lasted and how we can tolerate each other.|||You don't have to run your life by astrology to appreciate it. If nothing else have a healthy curiosity about it. Astrology has been practiced for a long time It's not going anywhere it's practiced in some form or fashion in every Continent on earth.
I love the study of synastry or relationship astrology because its so easy to measure. I'm amazed that there are so many who don't know the birthdays of people very close to them.. Personally I look forward to my flurry of birthday calls . My friends know that if no one else calls them I will. I make it a point to learn their birthday and remember. I do not need Facebook (lol).
Begin making notes of the birth dates of people in your circle of family and friends. You will start to see some patterns and consistencies. maybe even several people who are born on the same day. Notice the elements ( fire, earth air of water ) of the people in your family. If your parents are both earth signs you and your brothers and sisters will probably be earth or water. if your parents are air and fire you will find that you and your siblings are of those elements too.
Using your power of observation is what will make astrology interesting and believable for you.|||no. i don't disrespect those who do, but i don't get it...what could the position of planets millions of miles away, in relationship to each other, have on a person that was born on that particular day....i just don't see it, and to go so far as to relate how that person will react to another that was born at another instant, and how the planets were at that moment........i just don't see it. is it supose to be scientific, or religious? if it's religious, what God rules that? if it is science, what laws are involved? i just don't get it...|||I used to, but it's not true. I mean, I used to get daily horoscope mails and and everytime it's about chances of falling in love or romancing with someone. And none of it ever happened but there are a few things that sometimes might be true but not all of it is 100%. So it's a gud time pass but no point in falling for it|||I think there is some truth to it. I am more compatible with guys who share my element, but I also think that the rest of the chart needs to come into play. The Moon Sign is a really great indicator of personality, and you should also look at the Venus Sign. I wouldn't say it's 100% guaranteed, but for me it as been pretty accurate.|||I just think it's fun and interesting to read about. I'd only use them as like.. semi guidelines though, lol. Not all of the stuff is true, as you're an individual with certain influences in real life. But it is fun to see what people act like, and their star sign. Though, i'm an Aquarius, and most things they say about my sign are true about me (:|||Nope I never did thats' why I'm with a Gemini Man and I'm a Cancer , we don't go along but my heart and his heart says we do. ;P

It's just for Entertainment which is why it's in the Entertainment section. Those who believe in it I have nothing against.
