the service? the atmosphere? the food? the music? what can servers do there to get a great tip!!!What are peoples views on redlobster?
I love redlobster, I work for their sister restaurant Olive Garden. As long as you are nice and pleasant, offer refills and don't try to hard you will get a good tip. Sometimes this doesn't work because you have those people who come in and already have their mind set on what they are gonna tip you before you even come to the table. This is due to their budgets or just plain old brokeness(lol) IWhat are peoples views on redlobster?
friggin' fancy place. i'd go to KFC and get the buffet there thats whats happenin'.
While personally, I really dislike the place, I know quite a few people who work there and say they make great money.
Just keep in mind, the location of the one you work at has A LOT do with business. What are peoples views on redlobster?
not a fan!
as far as getting really good tips ~ do a good job....be friendly and you will do just fine :)
I have always found Red Lobster to have good food and be a place of good dining experience. Plesant servers that smile and are prompt always get 20% from me.What are peoples views on redlobster?
I like it. And servers there can give good, prompt service, with a smile. Just like anyplace.
red lobster is for trashy people. it's a vomitous chain restaurant....imagine a 'Sizzler' for seafood. icky, yucky, cheap and gross...don't bother.
and the people who go there probably wouldn't even manage a 15% tip, cause they probably think it's "fancy". People who have money and can afford to leave a decent tip, will NEVER go to Red Lobster. Get a job at a proper restaurant....not a chain.
Its fancy, and good!
Atlanta Georgia, February 2006-
I went there on a Saturday. On Sunday, I was sicker than I have evr been in my whole life. I could not move because the shift of my body would give me an extreme headache. Wat you think I think about Red Lobster?
I wove Wed Wobster!
i don't like the food there
HATE IT!!! i threw up last time i went!
Wowww, I haven't been there since I was a kid! I remember it being really good, but I don't know how I'd feel about it if I was to go there now.
If you're going to work there, good luck! ^_^
It's okay I guess... they have good bisquits and thats about it. A server should be genuine and real to get a good tip.
The service, the atmosphere, and the music was great when i went. But i didn't care very much for the food, for one it is expensive. But everyone view is different.
i like red lobster - the cheddar biscuits rock!!! the atmosphere is casual and the food is affordable. the service has always been average to good when i've dined there.
Red Lobster is my all time favorite place to eat. I love the food, and have never had a bad experience there. It's a bit spendy, but worth every penny. The place has always been clean, the servers are well groomed and have great attitudes. I really think the management does a great job when it comes to hiring employees. When you have a party of 5 or more the gratuity is automatically figured into your bill. It is then your choice if you want to tip more or not.
hmmmm... all i can say is... "I LUV D PINNACALADAS THR!!!"
The service is variable, good to gawdawful. The menu is mass-production, heavy on oil, with subprime frozen shellfish. Shrimp are not always 'deveined' (ick) How not to get a good tip: Overselling menu items; Waiting out the table to see if they'll walk before you come back with the change from that $50 bill for the $32 check. I got into a stand-off with a ditz at the Irving, Tx. Red Lobster that ran over 15 minutes (near-empty section) until I got the manager to fetch her. While the letter sent to Red Lobster Central got me a $20 gift card for my trouble, I don't know what sort of feed-back she got. For the stand-off, she got 8% for what would've been 15%~20%.
They have the best biscuits! Otherwise that are just ok.
I love red lobster of course there are better restaurants for seafood if you live near the coast but im in kansas!!!!
Personally it's not for me. The waits to get a table are ridiculously long, the seafood isn't that great compared to non-franchise restaurants, the drinks are watered down and it's a family restaurant which means there are usually kids all over the place. I haven't been in years, but I imagine they're using those ridiculous "pagers" that light up and vibrate when your table is ready (otherwise, they're still shouting out your name which is just as bad).
I'm sure this doesn't apply to all of them, but the one in my area hires waitstaff who are barely literate if they speak much english at all. I avoid it.
