I work at Redlobster and my checks come VOID because of taxes, how can I get my momeny back?

I work at Redlobster as a server (waiter) and I get my tips everyday. I work 15 hours a week and my checks come VOID because of taxes, my check say that I should get like 100 dollars but because of taxes I dont get any money. When and how can I get my money from my checks?I work at Redlobster and my checks come VOID because of taxes, how can I get my momeny back?

If more is taken out in taxes than you owe when you do your tax return, it will be refunded then.

Are you sure that some of what you are seeing isn't just that your tips are added into your gross to calculate the taxes, then backed out from the actual check amount because you already have that money? That is very likely the case. For that amount, the amount that's backed out because you already have it (your tips) that isn't taxes and you don't get it back, you already got it.I work at Redlobster and my checks come VOID because of taxes, how can I get my momeny back?
You can reduce the amount of taxes taken out of your checks be increasing the number of exemptions you claim on your W-2. But be very careful about doing that. Your income is mainly in tips, and that money is taxable as well as your hourly wages. Basically, you are receiving your income tax free up front with the tips, and the paycheck helps offset your tax liability. You can make it so you get all the money up front, but come April you will have a huge tax bill to owe to the government. Frankly, you are better off leaving it like it is and taking a refund after you file your taxes once a year.I work at Redlobster and my checks come VOID because of taxes, how can I get my momeny back?
To receive some INCOME tax back, you file Form 1040-EZ, 1040A, or 1040 with the IRS.

To reduce the amount that is withheld for INCOME tax, you give a Form W-4 to your employer claiming more "allowances" than you are currently.

You cannot reduce the amount withheld for social security, FICA, medicare, OASDI, etc., taxes.
